这张莲花生大士的相片是摄于文化大革命之前，于西藏的第一间佛教寺院--桑耶寺内。

该寺院是由莲师、静命大师和藏王赤松德赞共同修建的。可惜，在文革时期惨遭毁坏。

据说当时莲师看了此塑像，觉得很象他。因此后人称说莲师说，此像为“我的像”。

这张相片原是黑白照，后期经美术加工，才变成了彩照。

This photo was taken before the Culture Revolution at Tibet's first monastery -- Sanye Monastery.

It was founded by Padmasambhava, Santarakshita and King Trisong Detsen. However, both the monastery and the statue were destroyed during the revolution.

Allegedly, Padmasambhava had praised the resemblence between him and the statue. Thus, people named it as "my image".
